It is an exciting decision to buy abroad and all of our property advisors have moved from UK to Cyprus themselves. They are hence perfectly qualified to advise you on the realities of such a move and to simplify the buying process for you.
Now you have decided to buy a property in Cyprus it's time to book a purchase tour.
A purchase tour gives you the opportunity to find the property you require using our local knowledge and with the minimum of effort on your part. Please read the following details and then complete the enclosed form so that we may start to assess which developments are best suited to you. Our property advisor in Cyprus will telephone you to gain a greater understanding of what you wish to purchase.
If you have seen a property we have for sale that you really want subject to a purchase tour visit you can reserve that property with a re-fundable deposit. Your credit card will be debited for CY£2000 to reserve the property for 14 days. Once you have visited the property on our purchase tour you can decide to continue with the purchase or receive a full refund. This ensures that a property you really want is not sold to someone else before you get there.
What’s included?
A property purchase trip is usually 4 days & 3 nights to view properties in and around Paphos. Our travel consultant will arrange travel dates suitable for you. These flights are available to all persons wishing to purchase a property in Paphos now.
Trips include:
* Return Flights from most airports in England, Wales and Scotland
* Free accommodation at the Coral Bay Resort Hotel
* Free full English breakfast
* Free property tour with our professional advisors
* Choice of airport subject to availability
* Introduction to our recommended panel of solicitors
Upon arrival you will be collected and transported from the airport to the Coral Bay Resort Hotel.
The first full day in Cyprus will involve viewing our properties within your price range, we will show you our completed developments, communities under construction and new off plan properties and the second day will, should you wish to proceed we will introduce you to a solicitor of your choice from our recommended panel in order to finalize your purchase. You would then be taken back to the airport for your return flight.
All of the legal requirements of your purchase are taken care of by our company’s recommended solicitor and they will keep you continually informed of progress.
How much is the reservation fee?
Deposits for property reservations if by Credit card are in Cyprus Pounds which will equate to approximately GB£2500 (approximately CYP2000). If deposit is made by UK cheque, it will be in the amount of GB£2000 made payable to Universal Vacations Realty. This will be deducted from the property purchase price at the exchange rate from Alpha Bank, Paphos, Cyprus on the date of the sale completion.
What is the refund policy for property reservation?
Deposits for the reservation of a property prior to a Purchase Tour are refundable if upon visiting the reserved property you do not wish to proceed with the purchase for any reason. All reserved properties must be visited within 8 weeks unless you request an extension. If we are unable to offer a purchase tour within this timescale we will refund your property deposit in full.
Who can go on these subsidized trips?
Anyone who has decided to purchase one of our new off plan or resale properties in the Paphos area. Although it is not compulsory to purchase your property on our purchase tour, if we do find the right property, you must be able to make a decision and place a non-refundable deposit on the property.
Can I use the trip as a holiday too?
You are under no obligation to buy but you can imagine we occasionally get people who try to use our subsidized trips for a cheap holiday with no intention to purchase at all. Our Purchase Tours are designed to cater for the serious property buyers only and those not interested in buying a property will find looking at property very tedious. If you are not genuinely interested in buying a property the trip will be a waste of your time and ours.
Where will I be staying?
We invite our guests to spend their 4 day, 3 night purchase tour at the 4 Star Coral Bay Resort located on the beach just fifteen minutes drive from Paphos. This 70 apartment luxury resort boasts the best sandy beaches in Cyprus and on site amenities including air conditioning, private balconies with sea or mountain views, lagoon style swimming pool with island and bridge, heated indoor pool and gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, health club and state of the art outside children’s play area, a fine a la carte restaurant, pool bar, outdoor pool, sundeck and terraces, lush gardens for maximum ambience and shade and a sea walk promenade.
